Publix supermarkets is the largest business to consumer food-supplier in the Southeast United States. Founded in 1930, Publix is one of the 10 largest-volume supermarket chains in the country.


Velocitas was hired to produce a Spanish television commercial that would carry its public service message to customers throughout the country. Publix wanted a way to convey the emotion attached to shopping at its stores, specifically the bakery department.

Velocitas worked with Publix from start-to-finish on this project from initial basic imagery ideas through all aspects of production. The result was a heartfelt 30-second commercial that was placed on a variety of Spanish TV channels throughout the Southeast region.
